Terms and Agreements
Ho, ho, ho! Thank you for inviting Santa 603 to be part of your celebration. Santa’s mission is to bring joy, laughter, and the true meaning of Christmas into every home, workplace, church, or gathering. To keep the experience safe, magical, and memorable for all, please review these guidelines:
1. The Heart of Santa
Santa Claus represents joy, tradition, and the wonder of Christmas. To preserve that magic:
Santa will only answer to his traditional names (“Santa,” “Santa Claus,” “Kris Kringle,” “Father Christmas,” or “St. Nick”).
Santa cannot appear in settings, media, or activities that would compromise the dignity or character of Santa Claus.
2. Children & Safety First
Santa treasures every child, but their safety always comes first:
Children must always be supervised by a responsible adult.
Santa will not pick up or carry children. Parents may assist for seating or photos.
Santa should never be left alone with children.
Please ensure clean hands and clothing (especially diapers) to help protect Santa’s custom suit, made by Mrs. Claus.
3. Environment & Setup
A comfortable and safe space helps the magic shine brightest:
Santa requires a sturdy chair and a safe performance area, ideally with a festive backdrop (tree, fireplace, mantel).
For longer events, a cool environment (55–60°F preferred) keeps Santa jolly. Fans or cooling should be provided if indoors and warm.
Santa requires discreet restroom access away from children’s view. An assistant may say he’s “checking in with the workshop.”
Food and drinks should be at least 15 feet away, and smoking is prohibited within 20 feet.
4. Pets & Animals
Santa loves furry friends, but for safety:
Pets should be secured during the visit unless their participation has been arranged ahead of time.
Santa is not responsible for pet behavior, including scratches, bites, or accidents.
5. Accessibility & Property Safety
Santa’s suit is heavy, and his boots aren’t made for icy sidewalks! Please help ensure:
Clear, safe, and accessible entry and exit (sidewalks shoveled, stairs cleared, and walkways free of ice or tripping hazards).
Santa is not responsible for slips, falls, or injuries caused by unsafe conditions.
The client is responsible for maintaining a hazard-free space (stable chairs, safe decorations, managed electrical cords, etc.).
Santa is not liable for damage to property unless caused by clear negligence.
6. Performance & Timing
Santa never rushes magic, but clear expectations help everyone:
Standard bookings run 30–60 minutes, with extended events by arrangement.
For events longer than 90 minutes, Santa requires a 10-minute break each full hour.
Requests for early arrival, rehearsals, or walkthroughs beyond 15 minutes will be billed at 50% of the hourly rate.
Special costume or performance requests must be made in advance and may incur extra fees.
7. Conduct & Boundaries
Santa 603 is dedicated to creating a joyful, family-friendly environment. To keep it safe:
If unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior occurs, Santa may respectfully excuse himself or ask an individual to step away.
Harassment, offensive language, or inappropriate touching of Santa will result in immediate termination of services.
No refunds will be provided if the event ends early due to unsafe conduct.
8. Health & Illness
Santa wants everyone healthy and happy:
If a guest is visibly ill, Santa may decline direct contact or photo interaction.
Santa is not liable for the transmission of illness at events.
If Santa himself is too ill to appear, efforts will be made to provide a trusted replacement or refund (minus any non-refundable retainer).
9. Photos, Video & Media Use
Memories are meant to be shared, but with care:
Photos and videos are welcome for personal use.
Any commercial, promotional, or marketing use of Santa’s likeness requires written permission.
Images may not be altered, sold, or misused in ways that misrepresent Santa 603.
10. Payment & Gratuities
A deposit and signed agreement are required to confirm bookings.
Balance is due before or at the time of service.
Gratuities are never expected but always appreciated. To preserve the magic, tips should be given discreetly (such as in a Christmas card) away from children’s view.
11. Cancellations & Emergencies
Life is unpredictable, but Santa does his best to be there:
Events are assumed to be indoors unless arranged otherwise.
Weather cancellations are valid only if travel or the venue is unsafe.
Santa 603 is not responsible for cancellations caused by illness, accidents, emergencies, or acts of God.
In such cases, every effort will be made to provide a suitable replacement or refund (minus any non-refundable retainer).
Santa 603 reserves the right to substitute an equally qualified performer in an emergency.
12. Liability & Risk Waiver
Santa 603 takes every precaution for safety, but:
The client assumes responsibility for providing a safe environment.
Santa 603 is not liable for injuries, damages, allergic reactions, or accidents arising from unsafe conditions.
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Santa 603 and its representatives against any claims or legal actions arising from the event.
13. Force Majeure
Neither Santa 603 nor the client shall be held liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, or acts of God.
14. Special Notes
Mrs. Claus or elves may accompany Santa by prior arrangement.
Santa may pray with a child if appropriate and requested, especially if their Christmas wish goes beyond Santa’s earthly powers.
Fireplaces, candles, or holiday lights must be safely managed to protect Santa’s suit and ensure safety for all.
15. Agreement
By booking Santa 603, the client agrees to these terms. Together, we will create a safe, meaningful, and joy-filled celebration that keeps the magic of Christmas alive.
